TOKNORA Web reads token usage metadata from AI API responses that your browser receives while you use AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Mistral, Perplexity, Cohere, Groq, OpenRouter and similar). The extension does not read conversation content.

The content of your conversations (prompts, responses, messages) is never read or stored.
Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers are never collected.
Your API keys or authentication tokens are never accessed.
Browsing history outside the AI platforms listed in the extension's host permissions is never read.
No data is collected from sites not explicitly listed in the extension's host permissions.
All collected data is stored locally on your device using the browser's built-in chrome.storage.local API (or equivalent in Firefox/Edge). The data never leaves your device.
If you have TOKNORA Desktop installed and running locally, the extension optionally sends usage events to http://localhost:7432 — a local-only address that is not accessible from the internet.
No data is sent to Obiriec Labs servers or any third-party service.
Data is stored until you clear it manually (via the "Clear data" button in the extension popup) or uninstall the extension. The extension automatically keeps only the last 500 usage events. Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data.

You can delete all stored data at any time by clicking "Clear data" in the extension popup. Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data from your device.
Since TOKNORA Web does not transmit any personal data to external servers, there is no remote data to request, correct, or delete on our end.
TOKNORA Web does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The extension does not collect personal information of any kind.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and release a new version of the extension. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
